Electrical

Safe power for Southern Utah homes

Repairs, panel upgrades, EV chargers and surge protection from the Element team in St. George and Hurricane.

Electrical work, offered in Southern Utah

Of our four locations, only St. George and Hurricane offer electrical services. That team covers Washington and Iron counties, where long, hot summers keep air conditioners, pool pumps and freezers running hard, and more homes are adding an electric vehicle to the garage. An older panel that was fine for the house it was built for can struggle with that load. Flickering lights, warm outlets and breakers that trip are worth a look before they become a hazard.

For service, start at electrical in St. George, which also serves Hurricane, Washington, Santa Clara, Ivins and Cedar City. Our Flagstaff, Durango and Jackson teams don’t offer electrical service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does Element offer electrical service?

Only in Southern Utah, from our St. George location, which also covers Hurricane and nearby towns in Washington and Iron counties. Flagstaff, Durango and Jackson don’t offer electrical work. Visit electrical in St. George to book.

When does a home need a panel upgrade?

Common signs are breakers that trip often, a panel that feels warm, no open slots for new circuits, or plans for an EV charger, hot tub or new air conditioner. Older panels can also have known safety problems. See panel upgrades for what the work involves.

Can you install a charger for my electric vehicle?

Yes, in St. George and Hurricane. We check that your panel can carry the added load, run a dedicated circuit to the garage or driveway and install a Level 2 charger. If the panel is too small, we’ll tell you before you buy anything. Learn more about EV charger installation.

What does whole-home surge protection do?

It sits at your electrical panel and diverts voltage spikes, from lightning or the utility grid, before they reach the circuits in your house. That protects equipment plug-in strips can’t, like your air conditioner, furnace controls and kitchen appliances.

Is the price set before you start?

Yes. We find the problem, explain the fix and give you the price. Work starts only once you approve it, and every job is backed by our full service guarantee.
