From old town to Washington Fields and Green Springs, we keep homes cool, warm, powered and plumbed.
Washington began as a cotton mission in 1857 and is now the second-largest city in Washington County, with close to 28,000 residents at the last census. That growth means a wide spread of homes: older houses in old town Washington, established streets in Buena Vista and Green Springs, and newer neighborhoods stretching across Washington Fields. Each comes with its own mix of plumbing, cooling and electrical needs.
Washington is served by our St. George team next door, so a plumber in Washington, UT is a short drive away when a pipe lets go or the AC quits. Summer calls usually start with heating and air, and new homeowners often ask us about electrical upgrades for EV chargers and bigger loads. We’re available 24/7, and you approve every price before we begin.
Hard water and fast growth keep our plumbers busy here. We handle plumbing repair for drips, stuck valves and low pressure, water heater repair for tanks choked with scale, and drain cleaning for the sand and grease that stop a kitchen or shower line. Repiping older homes in old town and sewer line repair are on the list too.
An air conditioner in Washington Fields can run from May into October, and AC repair is our most common summer call. We also handle furnace repair when the first cold night arrives, spring AC tune-ups that clear out construction dust, and AC replacement sized to your home rather than to the old unit’s label.
Everything your Washington home runs on, from one licensed local team.

Washington sits at about 2,900 feet, just east of St. George. Its history is part of why the region is called Utah’s Dixie: settlers arrived in 1857 to grow cotton, which was milled in town. Today the city has more than 11,500 housing units, and it keeps growing quickly as a suburb of St. George.
That growth shapes the work we do here. In new construction, the systems are modern but untested: we see AC units that were sized loosely for big open floor plans, water heaters installed without expansion tanks, and panels that are already full once a family adds an EV charger, a pool pump or a shop. In old town Washington, the issues are age: galvanized supply pipe, tired drain lines and breakers that trip under modern loads.
The desert climate applies to every home. Summers are long and hot, and an air conditioner may run most of the day from June through September. Dust from open lots and construction settles on outdoor units and in filters, so cleaning both pays off. Winters are mild, but nights below freezing are common enough to protect outdoor spigots, backflow assemblies and irrigation lines.
Hard water rounds it out. Scale forms quickly in water heaters, faucet cartridges and appliances, and it’s the main reason a five-year-old heater can sound like a much older one. A softener, a yearly flush and a good under-sink filter take care of most problems.
Whatever the age of your home, we start by finding the cause, then give you options and a price.

Not usually. In newer homes we often find a unit that’s undersized, a refrigerant charge that was never set correctly or ducts that leak into the attic. We test the system and show you what we find. If it needs more than an adjustment, AC replacement options are priced up front.
Yes. A charger needs its own 240-volt circuit, and many Washington homes are already near panel capacity once a pool pump or large AC is added. Our licensed electricians check your panel and load before recommending anything. If it needs an upgrade, you’ll get the price first. Learn about panel upgrades.
Yes. We regularly work on older plumbing and wiring, including galvanized pipe, aging drain lines and outdated breakers. We explain what we find, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a repair will hold or it’s time to replace. See repiping if your supply lines are failing.
Yes. Washington homeowners can use $50 off any HVAC service or our $59 furnace tune-up. Bring it up when you schedule and it’s taken off the price you approve. Offers are for residential customers, one per service, and can’t be combined.
Washington is right next to St. George, where our main Southern Utah team works, so travel is short. We’re available 24/7, and we’ll give you an arrival window when you call. If it’s an emergency, like no cooling in July or a burst pipe, tell us when you call.
