Toilet Repair & Installation

A toilet that flushes, fills and stops

Running, leaking, rocking and clogged toilets repaired, or replaced with a new one installed level and sealed right.

Toilet Repair & Installation

Small parts, big water bills

A toilet has only a handful of parts that wear out: the flapper, the fill valve, the wax ring, the flange and the tank gaskets. When one fails, the result is a tank that refills all night, water creeping across the floor or a bowl that wobbles every time you sit down. A worn flapper alone can waste a remarkable amount of water each day, and hard water stiffens rubber seals faster than you’d expect.

Our plumbers carry the common parts, so most repairs are done in one visit. If a rocking toilet has rotted the flange or the subfloor, we fix what’s underneath before resetting it. When a fixture isn’t worth saving, we install a new one with a fresh seal, new supply line and a level set. Toilet service is offered in Flagstaff, Durango, St. George and Jackson. Clogs that keep coming back may need drain cleaning.

Symptom Check

What your toilet is telling you

Most toilet trouble falls into one of these.

  • Runs Between Flushes

The tank refills on its own, a sign of a worn flapper or valve.

  • Water at the Base

A failed wax ring or cracked flange letting water out.

  • Rocks or Wobbles

Loose bolts, a broken flange or a soft subfloor.

  • Clogs Often

Frequent clogs can point to a problem past the toilet.

  • Weak Flush

Mineral buildup in the rim holes or a low tank level.

  • Hissing or Ghost Fills

Sounds from the tank when nobody has flushed.

Toilet repair questions

How do I tell if my toilet has a silent leak?

Put a few drops of food coloring in the tank and don’t flush for 15 minutes. If color shows up in the bowl, water is slipping past the flapper. It’s one of the most common sources of a high water bill, and usually one of the cheapest to fix.

Should I repair my old toilet or replace it?

Replacing a flapper or fill valve is almost always worth it. If the tank or bowl is cracked, parts are hard to find, or the toilet clogs no matter what you do, a new one usually makes more sense. Newer models also use much less water per flush. We’ll price both options.

Which locations repair and install toilets?

Toilet repair and installation is offered by our plumbers at all four locations: Flagstaff, Durango, St. George & Hurricane and Jackson. Leaks at the supply valve or in the wall behind the toilet are covered by plumbing repair. Every location answers around the clock and prices the work before it starts.

Why does my toilet keep clogging?

Older low-flow models sometimes don’t clear well, and wipes labeled flushable still build up in the line. If clogs keep returning even with care, the problem may be past the toilet in the branch or main drain. That’s when we look further with an auger or camera. See drain cleaning.

Can you install a toilet I bought myself?

Yes. We’ll remove the old toilet, check the flange and floor, then set your new one with a fresh seal and supply line. If we find damage underneath, we’ll show you and price the repair before going further, so the new fixture goes onto a solid base.
