Boiler Service & Repair
A boiler heats water and pumps it through baseboards, radiators or tubing in the floor, so the heat it delivers is even, silent and free of blowing dust. When it’s working, you forget it’s there, which is how boiler maintenance slips a year or two. When it isn’t, the signs are easy to miss at first: a pressure gauge that keeps creeping down, a rumble or kettling sound as scale builds on the heat exchanger, a zone that never quite warms. Combustion also has to be set differently at elevation, and a burner tuned for sea level can run dirty and waste fuel in the mountains.
We repair, maintain and replace gas, propane and electric boilers, including high-efficiency condensing models, along with their pumps, valves and controls. Boiler work is offered by our Durango & Southwest Colorado team. A boiler also drives radiant floor heat, and a combi boiler can take over your hot water as well.
Symptom Check
Boilers usually give plenty of notice. These are the early warnings.
Topping the system up every few weeks means water is leaking out somewhere.
Scale on the heat exchanger makes water flash to steam and rumble.
Incomplete combustion. Shut the boiler off and call right away.
One room or floor stays cold while the rest of the house is fine.
A boiler that fires and stops over and over is wearing itself out.
Modern boilers shut themselves down when a sensor or flame check fails.
What We Service
Repair, maintenance and replacement for the boiler and everything it feeds.
How It Works
The same approach for a repair call or a fall tune-up.
Pressure reading, sounds, error codes and which zones are cold.
Combustion, pressure, pumps and controls checked in order.
Both options priced so you can decide with the numbers in front of you.
We bring it up to temperature and check every zone heats.

Maintenance Membership
Seasonal checkups for every system in your home.
Seasonal checkups catch small problems before they become emergencies — and keep your systems running efficiently all year.
A closed hot-water system shouldn’t need regular top-ups. If the gauge keeps falling, water is escaping through a leaking valve, fitting, relief valve or a failed expansion tank. Leaks under a floor or inside a wall can go unseen, so it’s worth having the system pressure-tested rather than refilling it all winter.
Many older boilers keep running for decades but burn far more fuel than a modern condensing unit. If yours is past fifteen years, needs repairs each season or has a leaking heat exchanger, replacement can pay for itself. We’ll price both, and financing is available for new equipment.
Once a year, before the heating season. A full visit covers:
Many boiler makers also require a yearly service to keep the warranty in force.
Yes. The same boiler can supply radiant floor tubing, baseboards and a snowmelt loop under a driveway or walk, as long as it’s sized for the combined load. Read about hydronic radiant heating for how those systems are laid out. Adding a zone to an older boiler sometimes means upgrading it, and we’ll tell you that up front.
