Heating & Air
AC repair and replacement for long Hurricane summers, plus furnace service for cold desert nights.
Your neighbors in the Hurricane Valley
Our second Southern Utah office is right here in Hurricane, so plumbing, AC, heating and electrical help is close by day or night.
Hurricane is home to our second Southern Utah office, on 5550 W 860 S. That means the technician who answers your call is usually working somewhere in the valley already, whether you live near the old town center, out toward Sand Hollow, or up by the Virgin River on the north edge of town. For HVAC in Hurricane, that covers AC repair when the system quits in July and furnace repair when it won’t light on a cold January morning. Need a plumber in Hurricane? The same office handles leaks, water heaters full of scale and drain cleaning for the sand that comes home from the reservoir. And our licensed electricians take care of the breaker that keeps tripping, the panel that needs more room and the EV charger waiting in the garage.
Hurricane is part of our St. George and Southern Utah service area, so you get the same licensed crews, upfront pricing and full service guarantee as homeowners across Washington County. Call and tell us what’s going on. We’re available 24/7, nights and holidays included.
Six trades, one team, all run from our office in town.

About our work in Hurricane
Hurricane sits at about 3,250 feet on the eastern side of the St. George metro, with the Virgin River running along its northern edge and Sand Hollow and Quail Creek reservoirs just outside town. It’s a desert city, and the desert sets the terms for every system in the house.
Summer is the big one. An air conditioner here runs for months, often through the night, and dust blown in from the open land around town settles on outdoor coils and chokes airflow. A unit that limped through May tends to fail in the first long stretch of heat. A spring tune-up and a clean condenser do more for a Hurricane AC than almost anything else.
Water is the other constant. The valley’s supply is hard, and the minerals in it build up inside water heaters, faucet aerators, shower valves and the pipes that feed them. Tank heaters lose capacity as sediment piles up on the bottom, and you start to hear it popping and rumbling. A softener, or at least a yearly flush, protects that equipment.
The housing mix matters too. Hurricane added more than 2,500 housing units between 2010 and 2020, so many homes are newer construction, while the original town has houses with decades-old plumbing and wiring. New homes bring large AC loads, EV chargers and full panels. Older ones bring galvanized lines and outdated breakers. We see both every week.
Winters are mild by Utah standards, but desert nights still drop below freezing. Exposed hose bibs, backflow assemblies and irrigation lines can crack on a clear January night, and furnaces that sat idle since March need a check before they’re asked to run.

Yes. Our second Southern Utah office is at 5550 W 860 S in Hurricane. Crews working the east side of Washington County start from there, which keeps travel short when you need someone the same day. Our main St. George team backs it up for larger jobs.
All six of our Southern Utah trades: heating and air, plumbing, water heaters, sewer and drain, water treatment and electrical. That covers everything from an AC that won’t cool to a panel upgrade for a new EV charger. One call, one team.
Start with the filter and the outdoor unit. A clogged filter or a condenser caked with dust will keep the system running without cooling. If both look clean and it still blows warm, shut it off to protect the compressor and call us for AC repair. We answer around the clock.
For most homes, yes. Hard water leaves scale in water heaters, faucets and shower valves, and that shortens their life. We test your water first and size a system to your household. Read more about water softeners before you decide.
Several. Our St. George and Hurricane offers include a $59 furnace tune-up, $50 off any HVAC or plumbing service, and $83 drain clearing or it’s free. Mention the offer when you book so we can apply it. Offers are for residential customers, and only one can be used per service.
