Leaks, frozen lines and tired galvanized pipe fixed in homes old and new.
More about plumbingDependable plumbing in the Flagstone Capital
Plumbing repairs, frozen lines, water heaters, drain clearing and water treatment for Ash Fork homes, from railroad-era houses on Route 66 to newer places outside town.
Ash Fork sits about 5,200 feet up along I-40 in northern Yavapai County. It’s lower than Flagstaff, but it still gets snow, and a cold night can split a pipe in a crawlspace just as easily here. Homes range from old railroad company houses on the Route 66 blocks to manufactured homes on the open land around town, and each one asks something different of its plumbing.
Element’s Flagstaff and Northern Arizona team covers Ash Fork for plumbing, water heaters, drains and water treatment. We’re licensed and insured under Arizona ROC 362018, and we pick up the phone 24/7. You approve an upfront price before any work begins, and every job is backed by our full service guarantee.
Four trades from one Flagstaff-based team, for homes on Route 66 and out past the edge of town.

More about water treatmentAbout our work in Ash Fork
Ash Fork calls itself the Flagstone Capital of the World, and the stone yards around town back that up. The community began as a Santa Fe railroad siding in 1882, and some of the old company houses still stand on the divided stretch of Route 66, where Park Avenue runs east and Lewis Avenue runs west. Homes from the railroad and highway years can still have galvanized supply pipe that narrows with scale, drains that have been patched more than once, and water heaters squeezed into tight closets.
At about 5,200 feet, Ash Fork sees roughly 21 inches of snow in an average year. That’s modest next to Flagstaff, but snow means freezing nights, and a supply line in an uninsulated crawlspace or an outside wall doesn’t need many of them to crack. When it does, the leak often shows up only after the thaw, so we check the whole run, not just the obvious drip.
Across the wider 86320 ZIP code, manufactured homes outnumber site-built houses. Their supply lines and drains usually run under the floor, behind the skirting, where a cold snap reaches them first, and their water heaters often sit in a closet built for that one unit. We work on both kinds of home and size any replacement to the house rather than the brochure.
Town water comes from community wells run by the Ash Fork Development Association. If you’re seeing spots, crust or a change in taste, we test your water first and recommend treatment only for what the test finds.

Shut off the main valve if you can reach it, open a faucet to relieve pressure, and keep any open flame away from the pipe. Then call us; we answer 24/7. We’ll find the frozen section, thaw it safely and check for splits before the water goes back on. More on emergency plumbing.
