Plumbing Repair

The fix that lasts, not the patch

Pipes, valves, fixtures and water pressure problems diagnosed and repaired by licensed Element plumbers at all four locations.

Plumbing Repair

Diagnose first, then repair it once

Most plumbing repairs start with something small: a shutoff valve that won’t close, a pipe joint weeping under the sink, a shower that has lost half its pressure. Left alone, those turn into soaked subfloors and ruined cabinets. In our part of the West, hard water corrodes fittings from the inside, older homes still carry galvanized pipe, and winter cold splits lines in crawlspaces and outside walls.

Our plumbers find the real cause before replacing anything, then repair copper, PEX, CPVC or galvanized pipe with materials suited to your system. If a failing pipe points to a bigger job, such as repiping, we’ll explain why and let you decide. The same goes for a drip we trace back to a hidden leak behind the wall. Every Element location takes repair calls around the clock, and the price is settled before any tools come out.

Symptom Check

Small signs of a plumbing problem

These rarely fix themselves, and most get more expensive the longer they wait.

  • Weak Water Pressure

Showers and faucets that trickle, often from scale or a hidden leak.

  • Drips That Won’t Quit

A faucet or valve that keeps dripping after it’s shut tight.

  • Banging Pipes

Knocks or hammering in the walls when a valve closes.

  • Rusty or Cloudy Water

Brown water at the tap can mean corroding pipe inside the walls.

  • Stuck Shutoff Valves

Valves that won’t turn are no help in an emergency.

  • Stains and Soft Spots

Ceiling marks, warped baseboards or a spongy floor near a fixture.

Plumbing repair questions

Should I repair a pipe or replace the whole run?

If the damage is in one spot and the rest of the pipe is sound, a repair makes sense. If we keep finding corrosion, pinholes or old galvanized steel throughout the house, patching one leak just moves the problem down the line. We’ll show you what we see and price both paths, including repiping where it applies.

Why has my water pressure dropped?

The usual causes are mineral scale narrowing the pipes, a failing pressure regulator, a partly closed valve or a leak somewhere on the supply line. If the whole house dropped at once, the main line or regulator is the first suspect. If it’s one fixture, the aerator or cartridge may be clogged.

Do you repair plumbing at every location?

Yes. All four Element locations repair plumbing, and each answers 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Each location page covers the towns that team serves, the homes and water it deals with, and the offers that apply there. Pick yours: Flagstaff, Durango, St. George & Hurricane or Jackson.

How can I limit damage until the plumber arrives?

Close the shutoff valve for the fixture, or the main valve if you can’t isolate the leak. Turn off the water heater if it’s involved. Move valuables away from the water and take a few photos for insurance. If the problem is spreading fast, our emergency plumbing team answers any hour.

Is there a discount on plumbing repair?

Yes. $50 off any plumbing service is available at all four locations, and it applies to repair visits. Mention it when you book so it’s on the price you approve. Larger repairs can also be spread out through financing.
