Ductless Mini-Splits in St. George
Plenty of St. George properties have a space the main system never handles well: a casita out back, a garage workshop, a room over the garage that bakes every afternoon, or an addition built after the original ductwork. Running new ducts to those spaces is often messy and inefficient. A ductless mini-split skips them entirely, with a compact outdoor unit linked to one or more indoor heads through a small line set.
Each indoor head has its own control, so you cool only the rooms you use and keep the guest suite off until someone arrives. The same system also warms those rooms on cold desert nights. Element sizes each zone, mounts the equipment, runs and charges the lines and tests every head. We repair and maintain existing systems too, and if your whole house needs attention, see central AC installation.
Good Fit?
A mini-split solves comfort problems that bigger central equipment usually can’t.
Detached spaces get their own heating and cooling without trenching ducts.
Workshops and home gyms stay usable through summer.
A west-facing bedroom or bonus room that central air can’t catch up on.
Extra square footage without overloading the existing system.
Older homes or remodels where adding ductwork isn’t practical.
Household members who want different temperatures in different rooms.
What We Do
Everything from a single-room unit to a whole-home zoned setup.
How It Works
Most single-zone installs take about a day.
We look at each space, its sun exposure and where equipment can go.
You get a layout and an upfront price for the system.
We mount the units, run the line set and charge the system.
We test heating and cooling in each zone and show you the controls.

Maintenance Membership
Seasonal checkups for every system in your home.
Seasonal checkups catch small problems before they become emergencies — and keep your systems running efficiently all year.
Yes. Most ductless systems run in both directions, cooling in summer and heating in winter. For a casita or a garage in St. George, that usually means one system covers the whole year, including the cold, clear nights in December and January.
That depends on the outdoor unit. A single-zone system serves one space; multi-zone systems connect several indoor heads to one outdoor unit, each with its own control. We size the outdoor unit to the combined load so every zone gets enough capacity.
They tend to be, for two reasons. Air goes straight into the room rather than through ductwork that loses cooling in a hot attic. And you only run the zones you’re using. Leave the guest room off until visitors arrive and you’re not paying to cool it.
Yes. Rinse or wash the indoor filters every few weeks during dusty months, and book a yearly service so we can clean the coils, check pressures and flush the drain lines, which can scale up with our hard water. A dirty indoor head loses airflow fast. Ask about our maintenance plan to keep it on schedule.
If one or two spaces are the problem, a mini-split is usually the simpler fix. If the whole house struggles, the central system may be undersized or worn out. We’ll look at both and tell you which makes sense. See AC repair or all heating and air services.
