Hydro Jetting in Jackson
A drain cable punches a hole through a blockage and gets water moving again. For many clogs that’s all it takes. But when a kitchen line is lined with years of grease, a sewer lateral on a big lot has a long run of sludge, or aspen and cottonwood roots have worked into a joint, the cable leaves most of the problem behind. The line slows down again within months, often during the busiest stretch of ski season.
Hydro jetting cleans the whole inside of the pipe. A hose with a rear-facing nozzle pulls itself up the line and sprays water at high pressure against the pipe wall, cutting through grease, sludge, scale and fine roots and flushing them away. We run a camera inspection first to make sure the pipe is sound enough for jetting, then set the pressure to suit its material and age. A camera pass afterward shows you the result. If the footage turns up a crack or a sag, we’ll explain your sewer repair options.
Symptom Check
These patterns usually mean buildup along the pipe, not a single plug.
A line that slows down again a few weeks or months after clearing.
A sink that drains slower every year despite your care.
Root growth found on camera at joints in the sewer lateral.
Drains that bubble or burp as water fights past narrowed pipe.
Sludge coating the pipe can hold onto smells long after cleaning.
Buildup in the run from the house to the tank on rural lots.

Yes. A snake or cable breaks through a clog so water can pass, which is often enough for a hair or paper blockage. Jetting cleans the inside of the whole pipe, so grease, sludge and fine roots are removed instead of left in place. For a simple clog, drain cleaning with a cable may be all you need.
On sound pipe at the right pressure, it’s a safe method. Old pipe that is cracked, badly corroded or separated at a joint is another story, which is why we look with a camera before we jet. If the line is too fragile, we’ll tell you and talk about repair instead.
It cuts out the roots that have grown into the pipe, but the joint or crack they came through is still there, so they can return over time. If the camera shows roots coming through a damaged section, a lasting fix may be trenchless sewer repair or replacing that piece of pipe.
Yes. The pipe between the house and the tank can collect grease and sludge like any drain. We clean that run and check it on camera. Problems inside the tank or drain field are a different job, and we’ll tell you if the camera points there.
No. The $83 drain clearing offer covers cable clearing of one accessible drain, and for a single clog that may be all you need. Hydro jetting is priced on its own after we see the line, and you approve that price before we start.
