Often, yes. A ductless mini-split pairs an outdoor unit with one or more indoor heads mounted on a wall or ceiling. It heats and cools without ductwork, so it’s a natural fit for additions, garages, workshops, casitas, finished basements, older homes without ducts, and rooms that never get comfortable on the central system.

Mini-splits are very efficient because there are no duct losses and each head runs only as hard as its room needs. Every zone gets its own thermostat. The trade-offs: a visible indoor unit in each room, a higher cost per room than extending existing ductwork, and filters in each head that need regular cleaning.

Ductless mini-splits are installed and serviced by our St. George & Hurricane team. They aren’t offered in Flagstaff, Durango or Jackson.
